The White Sox have trimmed down their roster to 28 as they have sent infielder Nick Madrigal officially to the injured list and demoted infielder/outfielder Nicky Delmonico. Madrigal goes on the injured list after having separated his shoulder and expects to be out towards the end of the month. Delmonico had been struggling this year and the team needed a player to go down to Schaumburg in order to comply with roster size rules.
