This article looks at each of the players brought into Everton this season whether it's via transfer or loan. To say the least this was a very productive offseason for the club as they brought in a lot of depth and quality players, and this might not have been the best transfer window ever as there are likely more to come to build upon an already great one. With that being said, let's take a look at each addition.
Andre Gomes
Gomes is not really an addition, but he is coming back to the club on a permanent deal and he is a midfielder that is much needed for Everton to succeed. Expect him to flourish now that he knows where to play on a regular basis.
Jonas Lossl
Lossl is a solid goalkeeper, but he was brought into the club to be a backup to Jordan Pickford. He was also meant to provide some competition for the number one goalkeeping job.
Fabian Delph
Delph was a low key excellent pickup for the Blues as he will start a few matches and come in as a substitute in others. The midfield depth got deeper with Delph on the squad.
Jean-Philippe Gbamin
Gbamin has big shoes to fill as he has to replace Idrissa Gueye in the midfield. While Gueye is a more established player, Gbamin is more physical and is younger. Plus he can develop into a star.
Moise Kean
Kean was the big signing of the transfer window as he is the striker the club has been looking for since Romelu Lukaku left. He is also very young and raw, so he could blossom into a massive star.
Alex Iwobi
Iwobi was signed on down the last few minutes of the Transfer Window as he will be one of the wingers the Toffees needed during the transfer window. It should help bring more scoring options and open up the pitch more for the club.
Djibril Sidibe
Everton made a very underrated loan signing which potentially can be a permanent deal, but the team brought in Sidibe for depth and competition for Seamus Coleman for the starting role at right back. It will be interesting to see what Everton does with him and Coleman this season.
