The first thing that stands out is that the Eastern Conference is going to be a rumble in the jungle as all six teams are talented. It's going to be tough for Old Glory to navigate the waters and a loss or two will make it difficult to make the playoffs. RUNY, NOLA Gold, and Toronto will be vying for the top seeds in the conference and all three of them are very good sides. New England and Rugby ATL are also very talented and could make a claim at a playoff spot. In Western Conference, it's not as difficult, but it's improved from 2020. Seattle and San Diego are always strong sides and will be tough. Austin has vastly improved and could actually make a claim at a playoff spot. Utah and Houston are a bit of unknowns, but there is some talent there that could make things difficult for Old Glory. Then there is the LA Giltinis, an expansion side, who boast a lot of talent and star power like Matt Giteau and Adam Ashley-Cooper and that alone will make things difficult for Old Glory.
It's hard to get a gauge on what Old Glory does this season, but this is a very difficult schedule for them. However, don't be shocked if they make a playoff spot as they are good enough to go up against anyone. There are some question marks going into the season, but they should be answered soon.
