White Sox Trade For Jarrod Dyson; Nicky Delmonico DFA'd

The White Sox looked to beef up their bench as they have acquired outfielder Jarrod Dyson. Dyson is 36 years old, but he provides speed and is a very good defender. He also provides playoff experience. The White Sox sent $243,300 in international signing bonus pool money for Dyson's services. In a corresponding move, the team designated outfielder Nicky Delmonico for assignment.
