The Chicago White Sox have signed catcher Jonathan Lucroy to a minor league contract. Lucroy is expected to compete for the backup catcher position out of spring training. Lucroy is a former All-Star at 34 years old and will compete with Seby Zavala, Zack Collins, and Yermin Mercedes for the backup role.
