The Washington Football Club has released running back Derrius Guice after it was learnt that he had been arrested for domestic violence. Guice faces charges of strangulation, destruction of property, and three counts of assault and battery. While the team initially had excused him from any team activities, the decided to release him after learning about the charges. Guice was a highly touted prospect out of LSU, but injuries had derailed much of his career. While Washington had hoped he would get a chance to be healthy and show his potential, this pretty much guarantees his career is over.
