Washington has released running back Adrian Peterson ahead of the Saturday cuts. This was a bit of a shock as Peterson had played in every game, but one for the team the past two seasons. In 2018, Peterson accumulated a 1,000 yard season and in 2019 he rushed for 898 yards and five touchdowns. The 13 year veteran will now have a chance to sign somewhere else.
