Washington has made a trade in hopes of building depth on the offensive line as the team traded for offensive tackle David Sharpe from the Las Vegas Raiders. Washington also acquired a 2021 seventh round draft pick in exchange for a 2021 sixth round draft pick. This should give the team another option on the offensive line.
Sharpe was a fourth round draft pick for the Raiders in 2017 out of the University of Florida. He also played for the Houston Texans before returning to the Raiders in 2018. He has played in 24 games including four starts in his career. This move should give Washington more depth and some experience on the offensive line. He could also be used as a swing tackle if needed.
