The Redskins have re-signed cornerback Aaron Colvin, while the details are fuzzy of the contract, he signed for $910,000. It is a low cost, low risk, high reward type of deal for the team. He is expected to fight for a spot on the roster in training camp.
Colvin only played in six games in 2019 for the club after he was cut by the Houston Texans where he recorded 10 tackles and had one pass defensed. What Colvin does provide is quality depth and that's going to be key for the Redskins during this rebuild. Keeping him around was a smart move by the team.
