The Washington Redskins have made another hire as they have brought in Jack Del Rio to be the defensive coordinator. While head coach Ron Rivera is a defensive minded coach, Del Rio will be doing the play calling. This has the makings to be a very good partnership and for a potentially awesome defense.
The Redskins had been talking about changing the defense to a 4-3, which is something both Rivera and Del Rio exemplify. It will be interesting to see who will be brought in to fit their scheme whether it's through free agency, trade, or the draft. The Redskins do have the number two pick in the draft, it would seem logical to think that they will select an elite level defensive player. However, it brings exciting possibilities to what can happen with that Redskins defense in 2020 and beyond.
