There was another article that was written about what the roster should look like going into the postseason. Well, it's crazy how things can look different in just two weeks as this will be how the playoff roster should look for the White Sox. Some of these are obvious, but some might be shocking. But this is what the squad should look like when they take on Oakland.

While it is not set in stone with Leury Garcia coming back from his injury, there seems to be a big possibility that he plays. If Garcia does indeed not come back, that roster spot will either go to Yolmer Sanchez or Jimmy Cordero depending on what direction the team goes in matching up with the Athletics. Edwin Encarnacion will still be considered, but with how much he's struggled, Encarnacion should not be playing. He could use his experience on the bench to help mentor the rigors of the postseason. Gonzalez may not even pitch either as he's dealing with an injury which in that regard means that Cordero will take his spot. Other options include relievers Zack Burdi and Jose Ruiz, plus starting pitchers Bernardo Flores and Jonathan Stiever.
