Looking At Everton: Forwards

You can't be a successful squad if you don't have many scoring options, but Everton went above and beyond this transfer window and brought in some top tier talent to go along with some other great goal scorers on this team. The Toffees may have one of the best offenses in the Premier League and it goes to show with the type of talent they have. How good is it? Let's take a look at the forwards that are employed by Everton.

Richarlison

Richarlison came on to the scene last year at wing and was the best goal scorer for Everton. He is a quick winger and a deadly finisher, but can also play as a striker if needed. With more attacking options for the club, he should flourish even more now that there isn't much pressure on him to score. He's also very young, so he might not even be in his prime yet.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin

A center forward that the club likes, but it seems like with the addition of Moise Kean, he won't be starting as much. However, he does provide class on the pitch and is an outstanding forward. He should also provide some quality when coming in as a substitute and should start from time to time.

Theo Walcott

Walcott is very fast, but he is unpredictable with the ball. He struggled last season with the club, but there were times he flashed brilliance. He is talented, but he is 30 and his best playing days are behind him. However, he does provide depth on the wing and might be an intriguing player that comes on as a substitute.

Cenk Tosun

Tosun was looked at as the main scoring target a couple of seasons ago when he transferred over. He had a wealth of potential and possibly succeeding in the Premier League, but now things are different. He doesn't quite fit into Silva's system, but he at least provides depth and another scoring option when coming in as a substitute.

Alex Iwobi

This was another big signing for the club this transfer window as now Marcel Brands has given Silva another attacking option. Iwobi will play on the wing, but his biggest asset is his passing as he creates so many scoring chances. While he won't be scoring many goals, expect him to rack up assists like crazy.

Moise Kean

Kean was possibly the biggest signing Brands made this transfer window and possibly one of the most underrated one made in the whole Premier League, Everton now has that striker that has long been missing since Romelu Lukaku left a few seasons ago. He is also young and not quite in his prime yet, but he could blossom into a superstar. He is deadly accurate at the net and that will help the club a lot offensively.

Oumar Niasse

Niasse has been disappointing since he joined Everton despite having some spurts of great play. The striker does provide some depth and insurance, but his talent is so raw that it's tough to see him play on a regular basis. However, what he does provide is a tough work ethic and that goes a long way for Silva.
