Mumbai Indians bowler Lasith Malinga has announced his retirement from franchise cricket. While Mumbai would've liked to have Malinga come back for the 2021 campaign, Malinga informed the team that he will retire. Now there will be another spot open for the team's retention wish list. Malinga retires at age 37.
