Ireland's Chances In 2020 Autumn Nations Cup

In this newly formed tournament, Ireland ventures into this Autumn Nations Cup in hopes of getting back into form. After a poor performance against France at the end of Six Nations tournament, Ireland will be looking to get back on track and play well. Ireland will have new faces and some familiar ones and look to win this newly formed tournament against some of other top nations around the world. This article will take a look at Ireland's chances at winning this tournament.

Ireland's Fixtures In Group A

Match One: Home vs Wales

Match Two: Away at England

Match Three: Home vs Georgia

This will not be an easy schedule for the Irish. What their advantage will be is that they have two home matches. Wales has been struggling of late, but there is still a lot talent on their squad like Justin Tipuric, Louis Rees-Zammit, and George North. Georgia is an up-and-coming rugby nation who are hoping to finally make a statement and with a strong scrum they could very much do so, but might struggle against a lot of the bigger rugby nations. England is going to be the toughest of them all and with how their head coach Eddie Jones has done with the squad, they have become a very strong side especially with talents like Maro Itoje, Owen Farrell, and Sam Underhill on the team. The match against England at Twickenham probably will decide who wins Group A.

Ireland is going to the Finals no matter what, but the question will be whom they play. If Ireland wins all their matches, it will give them a better chance at playing whoever wins Group B. If that is the case then there is still a good chance at getting them back on track and playing in a great form.
