Guard Jeremiah Francis will be entering the transfer portal as he is the second Tar Heel to enter after Brandon Huffman entered recently. Despite getting some significant playing time this season, Francis obviously felt like this was not a good fit for him. Despite injuries, Francis is a talented player.
Francis started a few games this season after Cole Anthony injured himself and played admirably. While he would have provided depth come this upcoming season, it seemed like he decided to leave. His minutes had increased over the season and averaged 3.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 13.6 minutes per game.
