FC Cincinnati has traded midfielder Fatai Alashe to the Columbus Crew for a 2021 second round draft pick. Depending on the performance-based metrics, the club would instead receive $50,000 in general allocation money. With rumors of bringing in a new player, this would seem to be one of the corresponding moves, however, this does free up a lot of cap space.
