FC Cincinnati has acquired Brazilian forward Brenner Souza de Silva ("Brenner" for short" coming from Brazilian first division club Sao Paulo FC. Despite being highly sought after by some European sides, the 21 year old chose FC Cincinnati in what is a Major League Soccer record transfer fee. Brenner is classified as a young designated player as he should carry a wage worth $200,000.
