Everton has announced that they have signed attacking midfielder/winger James Rodriguez to a two-year deal. There is also an option for a third season. Rodriguez played for Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti as he was signed with Real Madrid when Ancelotti coached there in 2014/15. The Colombian is a playmaker which should help make the Everton attack more lethal, but he is also an accomplished player with eight domestic titles, two Champions League titles, and an Europa League title. Rodriguez also won the Golden Boot at the 2014 World Cup as he scored six goals.
