Everton Loanees For 2019/20

The beauty of loans is that it helps develop players and others more playing time. Sometimes it means the players are trying to prove they are ready to make a move while some are sent out to gain playing time because they are blocked for their original club. They are still property of Everton, but they are playing for other teams. Let's take a look who the Toffees sent out on loan.

Jonjoe Kenny

Schalke 04

Kenny is a talented defenseman who has had chances to start Everton. A loan spell in the Bundesliga should help him develop into a better player. However, this might be his last chance to show that he should be a starting player on Everton's backline.

Sandro Ramirez

Real Valladolid

The forward looked like he was going to be a stud forward for the Blues when he transferred, however he's been anything but being a stud. The club has sent him out on loan spells to see if his scoring touch can return, but he's been unable to be even a tad bit productive. The worst part is that they are stuck with his contract.

Kieran Dowell

Derby Country

A product of the academy since he was seven years old, there seemingly has been no place for the midfielder. The team keeps putting him out on loans, but it might be to see how much they can sell him for. Don't expect the club to sign him to a new contract.

Luke Garbutt

Ipswich Town

Garbutt is another talented player that never got a chance to prove himself with the club. At the age of 26, it doesn't seem like he will and with time ticking, he might not get a better chance to play somewhere else if he doesn't move anywhere. Being able to play as a forward and back, his value is there, but whether he should stay as a Toffee is the question.

Shani Tarashaj

FC Emmen

This seemed like a wasted move for the Blues as he has never suited up for the club. His time has been spent on loans. A talented Swiss forward, he just hasn't been able to prove that he's ready to play in the Premier League. Just a wasted opportunity here.

Muhamed Besic

Sheffield United

Besic is a talented midfielder that has gotten some chances to prove himself with the Blues, but never really produced and was deemed as depth. So, the club decided it's best for him to go out on loan for more playing time so that he would be better than simply just depth and that he can start at least from time to time. However, he might not stay with the team much longer.

Matthew Pennington

Hull City

Like many others on this list, Pennington is another player of theirs that simply was never able to prove himself with the club and had to go out on many loan spells. He is on a long term contract with the Blues, so this might be a chance to see if maybe they could sell him. Either way, unless lots of injuries occur, there's no chance he gets playing time for Everton.
