Everton Hires Carlo Ancelotti As Manager

It was a seemingly a match made in heaven for Carlo Ancelotti and Everton as the club has hired him to be their new manager. This is an all-star like signing by the club. Now the hopes is that Ancelotti can bring some great things to the table.

Ancelotti will be taking over for Duncan Ferguson who had replaced Marco Silva on an interim basis after Silva was fired. Ancelotti had a run of a lot of success in Serie A with AC Milan during the 2000s. He also helped lead Chelsea to a league title in 2010, so he does have some experience and success in the Premier League. Ancelotti had recently been with Napoli, but had left that post.

It will be interesting to see what Ancelotti brings to the table as he will finally get a chance to build a team around his vision. This upcoming transfer window should tell what type of style he wants in his team and will develop a system. That being said, everyone should be excited to be an Everton fan with a coach like Ancelotti running the squad.
