Collingwood Re-Signs Scott Pendlebury To One Year Contract

Scott Pendlebury will stay with Collingwood through the 2021 season as he has signed a one year contract with the club. The midfielder has been an icon for the club as has also been the captain for the Magpies since 2014. Pendlebury was already contracted through 2020, but now will stay with the team for a little bit longer.

The 32-year old has been playing for Collingwood since 2006 and has played in 301 matches for the club and looks poised to break the team record of 313, held by Tony Shaw, sometime this season. He is also poised to break Nathan Buckley's record of most matches played as a captain for the club of 161 around the same time.

Pendlebury is a five-time Copeland Trophy winner and a six-time All-Australian. He has also helped the club win a premiership title back in 2010. Pendlebury has also scored 178 goals for the Magpies.
