The Washington Capitals have announced the signing of forward Daniel Carr. Carr signed a one-year deal worth $700,000. The 28 year old played in 11 games for the Nashville Predators scoring one goal for a -5 rating. Carr has played in 111 NHL games, but he will be expected to compete for a bottom six forward role in training camp. Carr is currently playing for HC Lugano of the Swiss Hockey League.
