The Washington Capitals have announced that they have re-signed forward Shane Gersich to a one-year, two way contract for $700,000. Gersich finished last year with 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points in 54 games for AHL Hershey Bears. Expect Gersich to compete for a bottom six role during training camp.
