Analyzing Everton's Chances In 2020/21

Everton come into this season with a lot of hope, especially with Carlo Ancelotti manning the helm and with flashy new toys like James Rodriguez and Allan joining the club. However, when your team is in the top flight, things will never be easy. It's arguably the most difficult league to win in. While Everton is some time away from being considered for a great run at the title, this project should show some signs of promise in 2020/21. With a brand new season, let's take a look at the fixtures for the Toffees.

After looking at these fixtures, it looks as though Everton could realistically defeat West Brom, Crystal Palace, Brighton & Hove, West Ham United, Aston Villa, Southampton, Newcastle United, Fulham, and Leeds United. Other matches that will be tough, but could come out with a good result will be Wolverhampton, Sheffield United, and Burnley. The tougher fixtures will be against Manchester City, Liverpool, Leicester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

Chances: 7th/8th. Like mentioned earlier, still a work in progress. That talent is there and they could make some noise. However, the Blues will fall short of a Champions League spot, but could realistically earn a trip to the Europa League.
