Analyzing Bath's Premiership Fixtures For 2020/21

Bath opens up it's new Premiership season and it can't get anymore exciting. The team is talented and rode a strong wave to a playoff appearance at the end of 2019/20. However, anything can happen in a 22-match schedule as there is little margin. The hope is that the club can ride it's success and run into a Premiership title. Here is their fixture list:

Week 1: Newcastle (Home)

Week 2: Exeter (Away)

Week 3: Worcester (Away)

Week 4: London Irish (Home)

Week 5: Leicester (Away)

Week 6: Wasps (Home)

Week 7: Bristol (Away)

Week 8: Harlequins (Home)

Week 9: Sale (Away)

Week 10: Gloucester (Home)

Week 11: Northampton (Away)

Week 12: Exeter (Home)

Week 13: Newcastle (Away)

Week 14: Worcester (Home)

Week 15: London Irish (Away)

Week 16: Leicester (Home)

Week 17: Wasps (Away)

Week 18: Bristol (Home)

Week 19: Sale (Home)

Week 20: Harlequins (Away)

Week 21: Gloucester (Away)

Week 22: Northampton (Home)

From the look of these fixtures it does seem to favor the club. Exeter, Sale, Wasps, and Bristol (each playoff contenders in 2019/20) will for sure be the biggest tests for Bath, but Harlequins have some talent that could give them fits and Gloucester has some offensive power. Northampton is an unknown, but there is some talent there which could give Bath some problems. Other than that, despite playing matches in enemy territory, Bath should have no problem sweeping the other clubs in the competition. Who knows, they could even sweep a series against a playoff contender.
